Stories of Yesterday

The Ask

Stories of Yesterday is a fictitious podcast concept about historical events and their significance, with a Unique Selling Point of encouraging conversation between its audience members. Despite its existence as a podcast, Stories of Yesterday required a brand identity that communicated its historical focus and USP, while remaining both modern and relevant to its target audience.

My Role

Working alongside Mollie Cox, I developed multiple concepts for the visual identity of Stories of Yesterday, ensuring I met the goals of communicating both the historical and conversation-oriented characteristics of the brand. In developing an abstract icon set, I was able to create a categorizing system for podcast episodes while tying back to the logo through visual consistencies, creating a visual identity that is robust and successful.
